My name is Cam Common Sr., founder and owner of Common Life Insurance. My passion for life insurance stems from deeply personal experiences. I understand firsthand how crucial it is to have financial protection and plans in place, especially in the face of life’s uncertainties. At the age of 16, I lost my mother. Two months before I was born, my father passed away. By the time I was 22, I had also lost two grandmothers who raised me and an incredible grandfather who succumbed to diabetes. When my mother passed, she left behind a small amount of money and assets that my siblings and I were too inexperienced to manage. Unfortunately, we lost our family home, and I moved in with my grandparents. After they passed away, I found myself completely unprepared to handle their estate, debts, and the overwhelming “after-death” process. Being the last living heir at the time, I was forced out of the home and ended up living in my car before moving in with my supportive siblings. With the encouragement of my family, I rebuilt my life and pursued a career in life insurance. This profession allowed me to fulfill a deep desire to help others avoid the same struggles, and provide peace of mind. Through hard work and dedication, I quickly rose to become a top agent at five different companies. Notably, I was the #1 Insurance Agent at Liberty Mutual in 2018, the top Life Insurance Agent in Kansas and Missouri with State Farm, and the #1 Final Expense Agent for major companies such as Aetna, Americo, and AIG. My journey is rooted in my passion for helping families gain control over life’s unpredictable events. Now, I aim to extend that help to as many families as possible, providing them with the peace of mind that comes from being prepared for the future
